Wings of Music——Children’s Musical Charity

Central Conservatory Preparatory School (CCPS) is devoted to supporting various public welfare establishment with the power of music and also strongly encourages student to participate all kinds of public benefit to serve communities as volunteers. In this regard, we cultivate the students with senses of social responsibilities, service awareness, leadership and organizational capabilities which are highly praised and recognized by the world top-ranking universities.

The founder of our school, inspired by the Venezuela Music Relief System, started to cooperate with the China Symphony Development Foundation in 2009 to set up this “Wings of Music——Children’s Musical Charity”. It is a charity project that uses music as the theme and carrier.

This project has invited professors from Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) and many distinguished musicians, conductors from home and abroad to provide free high-quality music education for children of rural migrant workers and underprivileged kids. Specialized children’s orchestra, string orchestra, percussion ensemble and chorus are also established for them.

Wings of Music commits itself to helping poor and needy children with music. It tries to sow a belief of “where there is a will, there is a way” and “performing while striving” to the heart of each kid through music study and training of symphony orchestra.

The faculties and students of our school are regular volunteers and teachers that help the children of the Wings of Music. Teachers and students of CCPS will join hands to contribute to this cause with entire enthusiasm and love.
