Ross Tchaikovsky Conservatory Central Music School Visited CCPS And Opened Master Classes

On October 16, 2015, Ermakov Vasili Ivanovich, Marchenko Mira Alekseyevna from Russia Tchaikovsky Conservatory Central Music School (CMS, also called Tachick School in Chinese) brought SkorikovaNina Alekseevna, their award-winning prodigy student and head of International Department to visit our school. Under the leadership of Mr. Chai Liang (music director) and Mrs. Chen Qian (deputy principal of CCPS), our international cooperation and music education departments shared the teaching experience with the visiting personnel of CMS and discussed future direction of cooperation.

After the meeting, the head of the International Department for CMS briefly introduced the school situation of CMS school at the small concert hall in our school, and later two piano masters gave guidance to four students of our school in playing the piano , themed with characteristics of Russian performance system and how to prepare piano competition.

Beethoven Sonata Op.2, No.3


Masters recognized the four students’ musical attainment and personally demonstrated their performance as well as gave their guidance. Students were fed with invaluable suggestions with respect to masterpieces performance styles and atmosphere rendering and many other detailed aspects.

In the afternoon, the students from Tchaikovsky Conservatory Central Music School had improvisational performance and exchanges with our students. Both faculties and students from each side benefited a lot from this liberal communication.

Ermakov Vasili Ivanovich


1969: admitted by Russia CMS

1973: graduated from Russia CMS and entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory; acted as a trainee assistant of professor Nikolaeva's during the time in school

1978: employed to teach at the special piano department by Russia CMS

2010: rewarded the 2010 Teacher of the Year from Charitable Foundation of Vladimir Spivakov


Teaching Achievements:


• L. Reznikova and S. Lips and other students under his guidance have won prizes throughout Germany and even many other world-class awards for more than 25 times. This number is still growing.

• His students have entered the Moscow Conservatory, Zurich, Hanover, Juilliard School and other top schools after graduation.

• He has opened master classes in Russia, Austria, Norway, Slovenia

• Wrote a book called Teaching Methods of the Piano Performance

• Ermakov is the author of many piano transcriptions. His representative work is S. Rakhmaninov. 24 prelude-romances as completed in 2002

• Ermakov is a prolific original musician. His another representative work is Elly, a pantomime in CMS as completed in 2006


Marchenko Mira Alekseyevna


1973: entered CMS

1981: entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory after graduated from CMS, where he studied from A. Bakulov

1986: graduated from Tchaikovsky school and was employed as a special piano teacher for CMS

1989: Graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory as a graduate and was praised as the successor of the fine tradition of great Russian piano schools just as her name 'Mira'

2009: Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation issued an official letter of thanks to Mira as in recognition of her outstanding contribution to cultural development.

2013: Mira won the title of Best Teacher of Children's Art School in the national competition in Russia.


Teaching Achievements:


• She has also won the special awards ERTA due to her outstanding achievements in the field of education .

• She is a resident jury member of many international competitions under the framework of 21st Century Art and Education Association, and she is also an active participant in the work of a number of international forums.

• Among her students, many have won awards in the  international competitions in UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Greece, Russia and Kazakhstan; there are even many were subsidized by the Rising Star financing funds and V. Spearmanv Fund. Her students are frequently seen in concerts at the best concert halls in Russia and Moscow.


Competition honors:


• Milla championed the title at the London International pianist contest

• Owns certificates of F. Busoni International Piano Competition and the First International Competition S. Rachmaninoff

• She won the P. Fladigalov International Piano Competition and all-Russian Piano Competition named after M. Balajilaiv

• She has participated in major international music festivals including: 1982 Hungary; 1988 United States; 1990 Spain; 2008 & 2011Ukraine; 2010 Lithuania; she also has participated in many major international music festivals, such as in 1982 Hungary and 1988 The United States and 1990 Spain.

The predecessor of CMS was Moscow Music School Children's Music Class founded in 1932 and was renamed as the Moscow Conservatory School Affiliated Middle School in 1935. CMS is a music education base for training prodigy that enjoys high international reputation.

At the first place, under the strong support of the country, a group of Russian famous music educator in CSMS have created a dedicated music education system to cultivate highly musically talented children. The emergence of this system soon received the world's recognition and support. The many-year teaching practices on the children’s early musical development and professional training are convincing proofs that early systematic and specialized musical education toward children are fully possible and effective to lay a solid foundation for their preparation to become true performing artists in the future.
