International Courses

We offer international courses for our students to be successively admitted to foreign advanced institutions of higher education, comprehensive universities and school of arts and sciences. Based on the respect to individual differences of music students, we try our best to unleash their potentialities and train their international communicative competences, comprehension abilities toward Chinese and foreign cultures and exploratory as well as elaborative faculty. Thereby, our students would be prepared for the rigorous academic life of foreign universities in the future.

By adopting progressive language learning approach and immersive bilingual teaching method, we implement our curriculum system and pedagogical practices by weaving together advanced oriental and western cultural education elements on account of our students’ musical attributes. By instilling and training English application abilities, linguistic organization competences and critical thinking to them, our students are developed with capacities to understand music, language and culture in English. A series of English proficiency examinations, such as TOEFL, IELTS, SAT and others are also covered for the application of universities according to each student’s career goals.




Comprehensive English (10-12 Grades)


Centered around English language basics to train students’ language application abilities; based on the English reading, to develop the students’ integrating skills via the practices in listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating and thus consolidating and improving their language basics and language application capacities. We improve our students’ English proficiency in an all-around way. In class, teachers continuously help improve students’ preciseness and fluency in pronunciation and students shall learn grammar in communicative contexts and make progresses in listening in task-based activities, oral English with topics full  of current characteristics of the time, reading and writing with a variety of articles. And finally students shall acquire the proficiency in English skills.

World Literature (11-12 Grades)


Train the students with skills of critical reading and writing in a comprehensive ways and teach students to apply English smoothly into their academic learning. Help students master reading techniques, understand contrasts between China and Western countries, nurture critical thinking through the study of world literature. Students begin to cultivate good reading habits and get substantially prepared for the rigors and massive reading tasks and thesis writing in their future academic lives of universities. In the meantime, we encourage and guide them to read original English classics and arouse their interests in British and American literature. To conclude, we help them apply English in their academic activities in a more accurate and flexible ways.

Pre-college courses (11-12 Grades)


For our students to be better prepared for entering higher institutions of education and obtain academic success at the same time, we begin to tailor specific pre-college courses for them on the basis of their college goals and their comprehensive situations, such as TOEFL, IELTS and SAT training. All these courses are prerequisite for their admissions by international renowned universities and assurance for their excellent academic performances after enrollment.


Study contents:


TOEFL: comprise four sections, namely reading, listening, speaking and writing. It is regulated by more than 2300 colleges of America and Canada that any foreign students who want to apply their schools must be provided with certificates of TOEFL standardized examination. Only those applicants who have obtained the scores as required by the specific schools, can they be granted admission and qualified for applying scholarship.

SAT: SAT is held by the US College Board. The grade of which is an important reference for higher school students around the globe to apply American university enrollment qualifications and scholarship. SAT and ACT are all called American College Test and the scores must be presented when applying the majority of US universities.


IELTS: IELTS comprises four parts, which are respectively reading, listening, speaking and writing. IELTS has obtained one hundred percent recognition by universities and colleges from Britain, Australia and Canada. In US, there are more than 3000 institutions of higher education accept IELTS scores.
