Curriculum Overview

We provide “three-three system” education to our student in order to nurture them into international inter-disciplinary talents with advanced musicianship, profound Chinese cultural background, global thinking mode, horizon and communication competence.


“Three-three system” blends three education traditions: the music, international and Chinese. One-third of the curriculum covers music education, including instrumental (brass, woodwind, string, keyboard and percussion), vocal, composition, conducting and other aspects, supported by music theory basics (written theory, solfeggio, listening skills, etc.). We are the first to open AP music theory among domestic schools and our faculties are musicians with professor titles of international degrees; one-third contains international courses, which incorporates comprehensive English, world literature, and pre-college courses (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT) that help students lay solid foundations for future lives in universities around the world; the remaining are Chinese curriculum that mainly include high-school Chinese, mathematics, politics and other courses, which are necessary to develop their Chinese culture deposits to prepare their academic success.
