Jin Ping Member of The Academic Board



Jin Ping, a composer with PhD degree from US Cincinnati College of Conservatory, currently incumbent of the composition professor and director of the Electronic Music of China in CCOM. Before 2008, he was a tenured professor in State University of New York. He used to win the first prize of the art sons competition firstly held in China, song-writing award of the Chinese Golden Bell Award For Music, supreme award of personal project for sextet issued by the New York State Council On the Arts (NYSCA). He used to hold the post of presidents of US Society for New Music and US Davenport Jury Committee for Orchestral Works Evaluation. He is currently the consultant for the Vienna Schoenberg Center, American composer, member of the

American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) as well as the American Association of Higher Music Colleges & Universities.
