College counselling is an essential part of international education. As a career, college counselling derives from the student selection system of Wholistic Review. Different from the method of merely using scores as the decisive factor, the admission to European and American universities should consider scores, extracurricular activities, application documents and many other factors. For music candidates, the most important is professional ability.

All the college counsellors at CCPS have overseas study background, music learning background and rich practical experience in guiding students to apply for foreign conservatories. Starting from the 10th grade, the college counsellors will participate in the students' future academic planning, understand each student's professional ability and personal expertise, and help each student select the most suitable conservatory and carry out the whole process of the application. For music students, the future mentor is one of the most important choices in his/her study and even career. The college counsellors at CCPS not only guide students in the regular application process but also teaches students the way of communication with foreign professors and helps them to choose the right mentors.
