Liu Yingge Vocal Performance Workshop Instructor

Chinese American Opera Singer, Producer and Music Educator. Ms. Ingrid Liu has earned her Performance Diploma from the Indiana University while receiving a full scholarship, and earned her Masters Degree in Opera Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in the United States. She was the recipient of the Arts Excellence Award from the Indiana University.


Recently Ms Liu performed Planck's opera Dialogues of the Carmelites, and collaborated with Ms.Francesca Zambello, General Director of the Washington National Opera as the heroine in Blanche de la Force. Ms.Liu’s major works include Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Magic Flute with German director Peer Boysen, Puccini's La Bohème; Donizetti’s L'elisir D'amore with British director Stefan Janski, and the musical Don Quixote worked with the famed American theater director Joseph Graves, her many collaborations with world renowned opera companies and festivals in New York, Italy, Spain, and France. Her performances have received rave reviews.


Besides of a busy singing career, Ms.Liu also is a prolific international music producer and coordinator.Ms. Liu managed and coordinated for the international cooperation and foreign affairs for Peking University Opera Academy during her tenure. On behalf of the Peking University Ingrid has visited and collaborated with the National Opera Studio of London, the Royal Northern Conservatory of Music in Manchester,Manhattan Schoolof Musicin New Yorketc.
