Wen Quan | Horn Teacher

Wen Quan is a teacher of the horn specialization of Beijing Eastbank Academy of Music, the vice secretary general of China Horn Association. He graduated from the Sibelius Academy, Finland and gota master’s degree in horn playing. He is active in the industry these years with a teaching experience of more than ten years. His student Zeng Yun was subsidized by the Ministry of Culture (BoBPlan) and won the second prize of the horn specialty of the 8^thJeju International Copper Pipe Competitionin 2013, the third prize of the Copper Pipe of the St. Petersburg International Youth Performer Competition in Russia in 2014 and the second prize for the professional group for the America International Horn Competition in 2015. Mostof those prizes had never been won before in China. His student Pan Ye servedas the Chief Horn of the European Professional Orchestra. Many other students also got excellent grades in competitions both at home and abroad. He often cooperates with professional orchestras at home and abroad to conduct performances.He has visited many grand art festivals and Eurasian countries. He was employedas the examiner of the professional or chestra and a judge for professional competitions as well as invited to hold a master class of horn.
