He Xiaozhou | Percussion Teacher

He Xiaozhou is now the percussionist in China Opera Symphony Orchestra, Bachelor of Percussion Music of the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) and Master of Percussion Music of the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He Xiaozhou studied instruments such as piano, saxophone and percussion from his childhood. In2001, he was admitted to the Tianjin Conservatory of Music Middle School as the top student, then majored in percussion under the guidance of Prof. Man Wang. In2007, he entered into the CCOM by excellent grades and furthered his study with Professor Jianhua Wang. Fortunately, He Xiaozhou has ever been directed by domestic and foreign famous percussion experts like Prof. Zhengui Li, Prof. Gang Liu and teacher JiajiaQiao during his academic years. In 2011, he, after graduated from college, was enrolled to Royal Danish Academy of Music for mastership and got scholarship. During master years, he learnt from celebrated percussion Professor GertMotenson, and got guidance of Northern European percussion experts like marimba teacher Johan Bridger and Latin percussion teacher Birger Sulsbruck. In 2012, He Xiaozhou started to serve in China’s first Music Confucius Institute in Denmark to spread and carry forward the traditional Chinese music. In 2014, he graduated with perfect performance in final exam of violin solo and chamber music and gained his bachelor’s degree. He Xiaozhou has ever visited foreign countries like Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, Finland, Sweden, Poland and Singapore and conducted performances. After returning, he dedicated himself to percussion teaching and performance.
