Teacher Expression | The Oboe Adaptation Track of Our Country “Tribute to Classics” was first adopted by the International Academy of Professional Music

This time, the New York Mannis Conservatory of Music included my reorganization teaching materials in the syllabus of this institution. This is the first time in our history that there are foreign famous music colleges to use Chinese oboe teaching materials! It is groundbreaking!”

JinJingchun, the professor at the Central Conservatory of Music and an instructor of CCPS, pays attention to innovation and teaching students according to their aptitude in oboe teaching.

Professor Jinwas highly praised by experts at home and abroad for his adaptation of the 12 classical symphony oboe reissue theme 'Tribute to Classics.' The Mannes College of Music in the US invites Prof. JinJingchun to direct the repertoire for the United States and to include the Ministry’s works in the school’s teaching plan and content. This is the first time that the oboe reorganization track in our country has been adopted by the International Conservatory of Music.

Tribute to Classics is a textbook that was originally created by Professor JinJingchun to train students to perform band clips through an oboe ensemble. It is the first attempt in the world. From November 23, 2017 to the premiere of Alto Dingshi, he made a great success. After that, he toured the Central Conservatory of Music and the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. He also made a sensational effect on the foreign premiere of Manny's Oboe Day in New York City, New York, January 28, 2018. This proves that this work has great value in teaching and playing, and has aroused strong reactions at home and abroad!

On January 28th, 2018, 'Manny Oboe Day' was held as scheduled. It was praised by the audience for the finale of the oboe rehearsal concert performed by Prof. JinJingchun and the American Rehabilitation Society of the Manny Conservatory of Music.

This premiere achieved great success in a warm atmosphere. Many American oboe masters praised the arrangement. Elaine Douvas, a professor at the Juilliard School of Music, said with excitement: 'This tribute to the classics shows Professor JinJingchun's outstanding ability. It is a form of ensemble that has never been seen before. It has extraordinary significance for teaching and performing!'
